International Work Camp
Associação Jovem Cooperante Natureza/Cultura main activities are projects in social-community and environment. The aim of the association is to sensitize and awake youth for environment protection, and at the same time make young people work towards this aim.
The activities the camp propose is a set of activities solely dedicated to environmental heritage in S. Lázaro and S. Victor places.
Work: The volunteer's tasks will be training actions, cleaning river Este borders, making an inventory of the things missing in the local environmental space, proposing solutions for those problems. During the camp, the volunteers will work 5 hours/day, maximum.
Leisure: During leisure time, they will visit some environmental and cultural visits, leisure activities and free time activities are also scheduled.
Accommodation/Food: accommodation will be at the youth hostel in Braga; the food will be at the youth hostel canteen and at restaurants.
Camp languages: Portuguese and English
